Portable or Hardwired...I just can't decide

So you’re ready to purchase a Progressive Industries Surge and Electrical Protector but should you get the portable unit or the hardwired unit? Portable units require no installation and plug directly into the park pedestal. Whereas a hardwired unit is just that, a unit that is hardwired permanently installed inside the RV’s interior or in the compartment where your power enters your coach. Both types of units offer the all-important and incredibly impressive surge and electrical protection you need but the portable one requires you remember to plug it in each time and not so much with the hardwired unit. So no matter which type of unit you ultimately decide on rest easy in the knowledge that when your unit is in use you're protected. Phew…what a relief!
