Subject:   Great Help from your Customer Service Dept.

Mr. Casale, I would like to let you know that I had an issue with my EMS-HW50C unit in my Tiffin Phaeton. I contacted your Tech service Dept. and talked to Anthony. He helped me diagnose my issue with the unit and got me back working in a short amount of time. I was especially pleased with the way Anthony treated me, like a customer should be treated. He was very professional, knowledgeable and understood that I needed to get the issue resolved. He is a huge asset to your organization for his help with me. I will recommend your company to anyone who is looking for an electrical switch and analyzer.

Again thank you for the service after the sale."

"I am writing your team at Progressive Industries are one of the very few incredible companies that absolutely perform and stand behind your products.

We went through 2 microwave/convection ovens and 2 roof top air conditions before I finally realized the problems that happen with momentary power disconnect/reconnect and power surges.

Today, there is no way I would connect my bus's electrical system to any electrical service provider without your protection device. Too risky, too inconvenient and too expensive to take a chance like that.

Recently, I had an issue with my device. I contacted Progressive Industries and spoke with Mr. Kalinowski who provided the protocol to send in my surge protector for review, and ultimately he sent me a replacement unit."

Subject:   Interesting story

"When I first bought the EMS-PT50C, I hooked up my fifth wheel and it worked just fine. However, a few days later I noticed the unit had kicked out with an error message for high voltage. I started measuring voltages around my house and sure enough all readings were high. I called the electric company and tried to explain how I had found this issue and wondered if they had any problems. They ignored me a for a day. I also noticed my new Trane HVAC air handler had kicked out and found they had a piece of equipment at a sub station that was not working and an entire section of the wounty was on this high voltage (something on the order of 134-135V. They were impressed I had discovered this and actually I don't think they ever really understood how. I thought you might like to hear about your product saving the day, lord knows what else might have been damaged if that voltage was sustained for a long time. I noticed it right away due to the EMS unit."

"As full RVers, we can assure you not all RV parks are created equal. Trust me when I say we've had the opportunity to connect our motor home's power cable to some very scary electric poles. We do this with confidence because we learned long ago a reliable sure protector is an absolute MUST> For over three years we've relied on our EMS-PT50C, it served us well and, when it needed repair, we sent it back to the factory. We were most pleasantly surprised when it was repaired & returned at no charge. Who does that anymore? Thank you, Progressive Industries, for restoring my faith in American Made!"

Subject:   They worked well!

"Had my portable PT50C hooked up to our RV via a Connecticut Electric RV 30A panel. Looked yesterday and saw "888" blinking really fast. Pulled it out of the panel and used my multi-meter to see what's what. It showed either 63 volts or 82 volts. Plugged your PT50 back in and it showed nothing on the readout (as it is supposed to.) Plugged in my PT30, just for the halibut and it flashed "888" and went blank.

Electrician came out and found the neutral wire inside the panel was burned and fried.

He made a repair and now all is well. Both your units are working normally, and everything inside the RV is OK.

You make a fine product and if you read the RV forums...everybody loves your products and your customer service.

Letter to Family Motor Coach Association:

"I have a 2008 42' Camelot with the power supply protected by Progressive Industries LCH50 surge protector. In September I stayed at a park where the voltage was only 106 volts so the surge protector would not allow current to flow to my motor home. When I changed sites all was fine. Two weeks later I didn't have power again in another park. This time there was power at the box at 120 volts, but no power allowed to my motor home. I found the Progressive phone number and Tommy who owns the company quickly calmed me and provided step by step assistance to get power to my motor home. My hat is off to Progressive Industries especially since it was after business hours. What a great company as they protected my motor home and made me a happy camper."

Subject:   Interesting experience...

"Five weeks ago we arrived at our winter destination in Georgetown, Texas. Shortly after arriving here we started experiencing power failures. Sometimes as many as 8 or ten in a single day. Checking the error code on the display I learned that the EMS was interrupting power to the motorhome because of a high voltage condition.

...Armed with this information I went back to the park owners and told them there was a problem and they should call the electric company and get it checked out. They did that and the next day the electric company came out and verified that there indeed was a problem  and in fact a large area of their grid had the problem, not just the park. It took a couple days to get things adjusted but we haven't had any problems since.

I just think it's rather interesting that your EMS identified the problem with the local power grid that who knows how long it had existed. I would think that by identifying that there was a problem and getting it fixed would have to have saved numerous appliances in this area from an early demise. I am very impressed and pleased with your product."

John

"...We purchased a surge protector about four (4) years ago. We were at a park that had reverse polarity. The owner explained he had wired the park himself and wasn't aware of the problem. He stated he would recheck all the electric boxes and repair them.

This is a wonderful product, service couldn't be better and its all American Made."

"...Shortly after we bought our coach, I purchased your EMS-HW50C with dual remotes and installed the unit over a weekend. The first occasion we had to use our coach, we plugged in to a park pedestal that was mis-wired. I'm no electrician, but I've worked in the IT field for years and have witnessed first hand what rouge electricity can do. From that point on, I've been a believer too."

"This is a testimony letter for your Digital Meter Box. Yesterday we had a heavy electrical load on our trailer. The electricity faltered but didn't go out, I stepped outside to check & smelled smoke and knew we had a fire. The box was on fire at the electrical pole. It burned the electric cord to the trailer completely off, but none of the wiring in the trailer was affected. The box saved our trailer, and we find no fault whatsoever with the PT30C.

We want to thank your company for a very valued and worthy product."

"Last week, I was plugged into a 50 amp power at a friend's house. Every night sometime between 11:00pm and 2:00am the EMS would shut off power to the coach. I was able to read an "PE6" error code on line 2. I can only conclude that Clay Electric (Florida) was transmitting—perhaps through a defective transformer more than 132 volts to line 2 late at night.

For a long time my friend has been changing blown light bulbs too often in this house. This high voltage may be why.

I want to thank you for offering the EMS-HW50. I have no  way to determine what ill effects the intermittant high voltage condition might have caused to my coach electrical components without your unit. Yours is a very important preventative components to us, especially as we have just begun our fulltime RVing adventure!"
